Kaavish & Quratulain Balouch, Faasle, Coke Studio Season 10, Episode 2. #CokeStudio10

Produced & Directed by Strings
Music Directed by Jaffer Zaidi
Composed by Jaffer Zaidi
Lyrics by Jaffer Zaidi

A masterfully produced ballad, Faasle is a powerful tale of unrequited love. The signature Kaavish sound is etched onto every microtone of the arrangement with Jaffer Zaidi’s sonorous, melancholic vocals and Maaz Maudood’s soul-stirring guitar tones. Alongside the duo, shining through the musical landscape of the song, Quratulain Balouch uncovers previously unchartered territory as her textured, emotive vocals seasons the song into one of the sweetest manifestation of heartbreak and loss. Floating on a cushion of warm, layered keys and nostalgic backing vocals, Faasle is an ode to love found and love lost.

Junoon Feat Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Ali Noor, Sayonee, CS10, EP2 . #CokeStudio10

Produced & Directed by Strings
Music Directed by Salman Ahmad
Composed by Salman Ahmad
Lyrics by Sabir Zafar & Shah Hussain

With the emblematic Sufi rock sound that shook South Asia, Sayonee marks the debut of Salman Ahmad as a music director and featured artist on Coke Studio. The resonant depth of Ali Noor’s voice juxtaposed with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s classically-nurtured, incredible range makes for a behemoth line-up that is bespeckled with nostalgia. Complete with the iconic bassline that defined a generation of Pakistani music, the song is given a new life with the decadence of the rubab, magical inserts of the flute and a hard-hitting percussive body. Filled with musical surprises, Salman Ahmad leads his bespoke ensemble

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Sooraj Barjatya has yet again proved that the new take on romance is so not his cup of tea. The filmmaker is all ready to show off his traditional side again with the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Well, not moving ahead with the times is not so bad but the newly launched song of the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, Aaj Unse Milna Hai is too old school.
The track Aaj Unse Milna Hai, features Salman Khan in a drenched in love avatar. The Dabangg Khan leaves no stone unturned to be the highly adorable Prem. The song is all about Salmanwooing his lady love Sonam Kapoor. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ as we all know is a prince and princess like fairytale romance and the song is trying to reflect the chemistry between the characters.

Well, the song surely has a good melody but a little work on the lyrics would have done no harm. The lyrics literally have the names of the delicacies like mirchi bhaji, barfi, pedas and what not. The song could be all the more fine without these! Flaunting his goody good avatar to the fullest,Salman is undoubtedly looking very adorable in the track.
Aaj Unse Milna Hai reminds us of the old era where the guy has to woo his special one with a range of sweets. The song initiates with a local beat and slowly moves on to the staple Sooraj Barjatya tunes. It surely takes us back to the times of his previous films.
The track primarily features Salman but also has Sonam Kapoor in a few brief scenes; dressed in a traditional nine drapes Sonam is surely seen in typical image with no signs of high fashion.
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the audience can hardly wait for the film to hit the screens. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is all set to the hit the theaters on November 12th, 2015

The song is a peppy number shot in the beautiful location of Goa. With a backdrop of the beaches the three actors are seen at their candid best. Awari Video Song

Awari Video Song | Ek Villain | Sidharth Malhotra | Shraddha Kapoor
awari video song

New Delhi:

Finally here it is, the heart rendering soulful track ‘Awari’ by Pakistani band ‘Soch’ (Rabbi Ahmed, Adnan Dhool). Sung elegantly by Adnan Dhool and Momina Mustehsan, the song has a gloomy setting and a disturbing melody but it still tempts you from the beginning.

The signature tune out of acoustic guitar is followed by Adnan’s vocal and then is taken over by refreshing Momina whose style of lending her voice is luring and makes sure it stays with you for long.

What is more interesting in the song is the timing of the electronic rock version, which occupies the space without hurting the core emotions. With fresh lyrics and eccentric composition, the song is surely going to grow in the coming days.

While the audio is exceptional, the picturisation of the song soars up the mercury with Prachi Desai turning into a sensuous bar dancer.

The choreography has not much to do in the song as it’s just a completely transformed Desai scorching the screens with her painful expressions. Going through the video, Riteish, who was too mysterious earlier, is also attempted to be exposed as an over-possessive husband to Amana Sharif while KRK too takes couple of frames in it.

Watch one of the most anticipated songs from ‘Ek Villain,’ ‘Awari’ here and get flowed in its enchsnted lyrics and magnificent music.
